Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO / HTKJ) lies on the plains between Arusha and Moshi in northern Tanzania, with the mountain itself dominating the horizon on clear mornings. It is a full international airport with customs and immigration on the field — which makes it the efficient private gateway to northern Tanzania.

Why fly private into JRO

From Nairobi, the sector takes about an hour — replacing the Namanga border crossing by road, which can consume half a day each way in queues and formalities. Our handling agents meet the aircraft, and clearance typically takes minutes rather than the scheduled-terminal hour.

JRO handles the international clearance; the safari circuit then runs on light aircraft.
